I do this work because I am stubbornly committed to co-creating a liberated and prosperous world for our people and our families. We deserve nothing less. The future demands our imagination, persistence, and joy.

Personal Why:
As a daughter of the South, I know our region is too often defined by its challenges instead of its promise. I've seen the ingenuity, generosity, and innovation that exist in our communities, yet I've also seen how often the South is overlooked by traditional philanthropy. That's why this work is deeply personal to me. Investing in the women leading change across our region is one of the most meaningful ways we can shape the South's future.

Personal Why:
One of the things I love most about working here is being able to build a supportive and trusting community of women and gender-expansive nonprofit and movement leaders across the South. WFS holds regular gatherings both in-person and virtually where these women are able to connect and learn from experts as well as from each other. I’ve heard multiple times from these women and gender-expansive leaders how much they value these gatherings because they feel safe, seen, and held.

Personal Why:
One of the things I love most about working here is building meaningful relationships with the incredible women and gender-expansive leaders who are transforming communities across the South. Whether we're holding space at a Grantee Partner Gathering, sharing moments of rest and reflection at WŌC@Rest™, or learning together through our programs, I'm continually inspired by their wisdom, resilience, and generosity. It is a privilege to create spaces where leaders can connect, care for one another, and remember that they don't have to do this work alone.

I work at WFS because I’m mission-driven at my core. I want to put my energy where it’s most needed and where I can have the greatest impact. The South matters deeply to me, and so does advancing the lives and opportunities of women, girls, and gender-expansive people across the region. WFS brings those things together in a way that feels deeply aligned with who I am, what I care about, and what is important to the future of the South.

I serve as Communications Officer at Women's Foundation of the South. One of the things I love most about working here is helping address the needs of Southern women and creating pathways for them to thrive. By investing in their success, we strengthen families, uplift communities, and create lasting opportunities for generations to come.
