The Women’s Foundation of the South (WFS) is not just a foundation—it is a movement.
We exist to build the health, wealth, and power of women, girls, and gender-expansive people of color in the U.S. South as a blueprint for a flourishing future. The South has always been ground zero for Americaʼs greatest transformations—and yet, generation after generation, the inequalities remain stubbornly intact. Still, the South is where the roots of transformation run deepest, and where the soil must shift if the harvest of justice is to ever come.
To alter the trajectory of the nation, we must first alter the South.
